Brian Wilson is the Restoration Manager; responsibilities include managing a variety of natural areas projects including: woodland, wetland, prairie, and stream bank/shoreline projects. His greatest strength lies in his ability to implement solutions through development of new methods and procedures as required by clients' needs.
Mr. Wilson joined McGinty Bros., Inc. in 2004 as a Field Restoration Manager and transitioned into overseeing the Natural Areas Restoration Division in 2006. Today Brian provides leadership and technical guidance to a team of 55 skilled employees and supervision of over 200 natural areas, erosion control installation projects. Brian and the McGinty Restoration Team successfully restore 150 natural areas management projects annually.
Prior to joining McGinty Bros., Inc., Mr. Wilson worked in a variety of field positions including: the Schaumburg Park District, US Forest Service, and the Village of Glenview. He has managed restoration projects for private landowners, corporate properties, county forest preserves, conservation districts, park districts, governmental agencies and many designers and consultants.
Mr. Wilson graduated Northwestern University, Evanston, IL in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Sciences and Geography. His additional professional accreditations include:
